The center of nanotechnology is honored to invite you to attend the
“ Center of nanotechnology , the new image”
event , under the auspicious and the presence of HE the President of
King Abdul Aziz University Prof.Osama AlTayeb.
The event will be held in the main hall King Fahed Medical researchers Center, on 
Saturday the 30th of October 2010 (22/11/1431 H) at 9.00 AM. As a means for Promoting further
collaboration between the different faculties of KAU and the center of Nanotechnology,

also invited to join our newly Formed nanotechnology research groups.

The Centre of Nanotechnology was honoured to receive representative from Thermo Scientific.
They were given a tour of the lab and discussed about various machines
that were being installed during the
development stages of the centre.
They then proceeded to give a presentation regarding the recently developed XPS
device that
was given a makeover to make it more accesible to less specialised users.     Its main uses are to obtain information regarding elemental contents,
surface analysis for thin films of both conductive and non conductive materials.

The Centre also was visited by representatives from Agilent Technologies who demonstrated

their 5500 Atomic Force Microscope (AFM).

The machine had an impressive range of capabilities ranging from in
situ AFM and elechtrochemistry to environmental control.
