Abstract
:
This study focuses on the unemployment of female graduates from King Abdul Aziz University. Through a manual and electronic survey of the reality of the crisis of those graduates, we could analyze the characteristics of female graduates who suffer from unemployment, the causes of unemployment problem ,The unemployment crisis for female graduates is a widespread phenomenon, a recent problem with old roots, which has been reflected in the ages of those whose ages are over thirty-five years and are still unemployed. The problem of unemployment is experienced by graduates of eight faculties of the university, and its impact varies from one faculty to another, it is very remarkable in the graduates of the faculties of arts and humanities, and sciences, whereas it is lightly remarkable in the Faculties of Law, Education and Dentistry. Everyone is in desperate need of a job: widow, divorced, single, married, dependent or not dependent graduates . 96.07% of the graduates of the study sample tried to find a job opportunity and did not find it, although they used various modern and/or traditional searching means for jobs . The reasons for not getting a job have been divided into four main reasons: scientific, economic, social, and spatial. The proposed efforts to solve the problem of unemployment in general and the unemployment of female graduates in particular have been divided between four bodies: the State, social institutions and institutions of higher education, including King Abdul Aziz University and the graduates themselves.
