Abstract : The systems and military arrangement of the Fatimid armyformed one of the important base upon whichthe Fatimid state was found.The Fatimid army in Egypt formed from oriental and Moroccan individuals brought from the white and black slave, Turkish and Armenian individuals. The army is divided into three categories: princess, guards and army groups. The Fatimid army is formed from many groups and categories, some of which related to Califs and others related to ministers and princes. The army leaders are characterized with distinguishing certain marks. The army is divided into five sections: introduction, center, right side, left side, and rear. The Fatimid state paid attention to the division of the army to many categories including the knight, infantry and the fleet men. Its weapons involve the white arms and projectiles. The Fatimid army is characterized with its high skill in using different troops such as spears, swords, marine & war fleets, and horses. In terms of their paying attention to fleet, the Fatimid fleet played a vital role in the military activity outside Egypt, in addition to its role in providing the coastal cities with the supplies and the men during the outbreak of the crusader war. The monthly salaries give to the army individuals provided stability, organization and good performance. Moreover, the military feudality became as an important bases in the system of army expenditure. The office of the army played a major role in the army financial and feudality affairs supervisory. Other offices contributed to the provision of the army requirements including cloth and horses. The Fatimid army is became weak as a result of the competition and dispute between its individuals, by reason of the crusader wars that broke out in many sites, intervention of army in the field of policy, the matter accelerated the state collapse, the Califs neglected state leadership and some of them interested in the pleasure, the weakness of some leaders, the authority of high-capacity ministers that prevailed over the others, as a result the state is collapse
