This study aimed to determine level of application of total quality management (TQM) standards in the General Directorate of education in the field of leadership, strategic planning, continuous improvement and degree of focus on beneficiary, and then discussing the requirements of application In addition to the discussion of significant statistical differences in estimating degree of application of quality standards attributed to experience, training courses and job title. Researcher used the descriptive analytical approach for this study, research sample consisted of (120) of female employees who occupy leadership and administrative positions. The researcher used the questionnaire after testing its validity and reliability, the most important results of this study include: 1). The application degree of total quality standards in the education directorate was high in Jeddah from the administrative and leadership occupants point of views positions. The standard of the strategic planning occupied the first rank with high degree, and continuous improvement with high degree, and then focus on the beneficiary also with a high degree, and finally leadership with high degree too. 2). The requirements of the application of total quality management in the directorate of Education were applicable in Jeddah with a high degree from point of views of the occupants of the administrative and leadership positions, 0.3). There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significant (α = 0.05) in responses of the occupants of the administrative and leadership positions in their estimates for the application level of total quality standards in the directorate of education attributed to the administrative experience, and courses in the total quality field, and job title. In the light of these results a number of recommendations were suggested, such as: The importance to act on the application of total quality management by focusing on clear procedures for the application and training of workers on the analysis of the internal and external environment. It came at late ranks and to emphasize the importance of addressing all observations and complaints presented by the female employees. |
