Abstract : The aim of this study is to identify the characteristics of university students who watch video clips, the social after effects, and the objectives behind the increasing number of video clips Satellite The study based on the descriptive method of the social survey for gathering data about the university students who watch video clips in order to define the size of the phenomenon and its general characteristics through a questionnaire applied to a deliberate class sample of 500 students from the population of King Abdul-Aziz University. The findings revealed that the most important reasons for a student to watch video clips are leisure time and low supervisory role and guideline for the family. Moreover, the study confirmed that the most important way video clips use to attract the viewer is the excitement of sexual instinct. The findings also revealed a change in the behavior or habits of more than a third of the video clips viewers. In most cases, Arabic video clips are not distinguished by any characteristic because they imitate Western video clips in exiting dress, dance, movements, and buzzed off gestures. There is a semi full agreement that Arabic Satellite present risqué video clips, and the vast majority of the research sample believe that there is a set-down plan to spread Western culture through video clips. As for the recommendations of the study seek to fill the leisure time for student in an appropriate manner, and to highlight, develop his/her talents. The study should increase the supervisory role and guideline for the family, and increase interest in the curriculum of religious to be the essential aim of instilling the spirit of our religion to the conscience of the student. The organizers of the Arab video clips should find the identity of suitable stems from the Arab culture which is not less impressive from foreign video clips.
