Abstract : This thesis aimed to build a suggested program to develop the skills of positive communication with other cultures in the light of Discipline-Based Art Education (DBAE). These skills are represented in writing, speaking, expressing with plastic-arts’ symbols through which students of fourth level in Department of Art Education are trained to communicate with art culture represented in Islamic Art as well as modern art schools and contemporary art trends according to dimensions of Discipline-Based Art Education (DBAE), art appreciating, art criticism, and art production. The researcher used the Quasi-Experimental Methodology as the theoretical frame which included all the study aspects, tools used and methods of building, and application procedures. The study results revealed the effectiveness of the suggested program as there were statistical differences (0.05≥) among the experimental group individuals’ score means (upon which the suggested program was applied) in the pre-scale and post -scale of writing, speaking, expressing with plastic-arts’ symbols tests with each patterns of art cultures; contemporary art trends, modern art schools, and Islamic art, for the favor of post-test. In addition, there were statistical differences (0.05 ≥) among the experimental group individuals’ score means (upon which the suggested program was applied) in the pre and post scales of positive communication skills scales in each dimension of Discipline-Based Art Education (DBAE) (art history, art appreciating, and art criticism) for the favor of post test. The researcher concluded number of recommendations included the importance of embedding positive communication skills in training programs though different study courses assigned on Department of Art Education female students.
